Hi! I just wanted to let you know that our adorable little girl is doing awesome. What a difference it makes having a sweet little girl in our family! We named her Izzy. We had no idea how fun it would be having 2 dogs. Sherman has warmed up to her now and is showing her the ropes. They play constantly, she tugs on his ears & tail and he uses his paw to push her and she goes rolling across the floor. It’s amazing how he knows to be gentle, but still rough-houses with her. Izzy is doing great with the potty training. We first started with puppy pads by the back patio doors where Sherman goes out. We have a routine now and when I let them back in they both run to the kitchen and sit for a snack. Sure didn’t take Izzy very long to figure out that she has to sit before she gets it…so darn cute. Sophie has a wonderful disposition! She’s friendly and playful. She’s affectionate without being clingy. I showed Sophie to another breeder (she’s also judged Havanese) and she told me she thought Sophie would have done well in the show ring. Also, exposing her to children really helped. We don’t have young children, but our grandson (1yr. old) came to visit, and Sophie was great with him!
